Truro Park & Ride Operator to Change From 16th February

Truro Park & Ride customers are being advised of a change to how the service is operated and how tickets are bought later this month.

From Monday 16th February, a new operator will take over running the Truro Park & Ride service.

What’s changing and when

The change follows an announcement made by First Bus in November that it would stop operating bus services in Cornwall from Sunday 15th February 2026.

Despite the change in operator, customers are being reassured that the service itself will continue as normal.

What happens to existing tickets

Any existing Truro Park & Ride tickets bought through the First Bus app will remain valid for the lifetime of that product. Customers will still be able to access those tickets in the First Bus app as usual.

Buying tickets from 15th February

From Sunday 15th February, any new Park & Ride tickets will need to be purchased through the Transport for Cornwall website or app.

A new section dedicated to Truro Park & Ride will be available, offering the same range of ticket options currently in place.

What is staying the same

The timetable and overall operation of the Truro Park & Ride service will not change.

Customers are also being reminded that Park & Ride tickets are only valid on the Park & Ride service and cannot be used on the wider local bus network.
