Miracle Theatre Announces Summer Tour of Peer Gynt Across Cornwall

A new summer of outdoor theatre is on the way as Miracle Theatre prepares to take to the road once again with a fresh production of Peer Gynt.

The brand new retelling of the classic tale will tour across Cornwall and beyond, bringing live performances to a wide range of open air settings including gardens, castles and village greens.

A Summer Tour Across Cornwall

Launching on Monday 8th June at the Minack Theatre, the tour will run through the summer before finishing at Enys Gardens in Penryn on Saturday 29th August.

In total, the production will visit 34 locations across the south west, including stops in St Just, Liskeard, Falmouth and Helston.

The performances aim to transform everyday outdoor spaces into temporary theatres, offering audiences a chance to experience live storytelling in their own communities.

47 Years of Rural Touring

This year marks Miracle Theatre’s 47th year of bringing performances to rural locations, continuing a long tradition of outdoor touring.

Bill Scott, founder of Miracle Theatre, said:
“There’s nothing better than watching an audience settling in ready for the show … it’s a real joy to see people coming together to watch whether we are in a castle, a garden or a village green.”

Ticket Prices and What to Expect

Adult tickets start from £20 per person, with under 16s from £10, although prices may vary depending on the venue.

The performance has a running time of approximately two hours, including an interval, and is recommended for children aged 7 and over.
