Sweet Treats for Boardmasters: Swizzels Hands Out Free Samples in Newquay

As festival-goers head to Boardmasters this weekend, they’ll be greeted with a sweet surprise courtesy of British sweet maker Swizzels. The confectionery brand is offering thousands of free samples to revellers, adding a touch of sweetness to their festival experience.

Sampling Van Rolls into Newquay

Swizzels is marking the nationwide rollout of its popular Strawberry & Cream Squashies by bringing its colourful, Squashies-inspired sampling van to Newquay. The van will be stationed by Newquay train station on Saturday morning, with the event starting at 8 am and continuing until all samples have been distributed. For those who miss out on Saturday, the van will also be at Fistral Beach at the same time on Sunday, ensuring that as many people as possible get a taste of the new treat.

A Sweet Taste of Summer

The launch of the Strawberry & Cream Squashies coincides with recent research conducted by Swizzels, which found that nearly two-thirds of the nation (62%) associate the flavour of strawberry and cream with a British summer. This nostalgic combination is set to bring a seasonal touch to the Boardmasters festival, as attendees enjoy the unique blend of fruity and creamy flavours.
