Man Charged After Alleged Café Burglary and Car Incident in Camborne and Redruth
A 42-year-old man has been charged following two alleged incidents in Camborne and Redruth.
Camborne, Pool and Redruth Police confirmed that Gary Thornton, 42, of Mount Pleasant Road, has been charged with burglary and vehicle interference.
Alleged café burglary
The charges follow an investigation into the alleged burglary of a café on Clinton Road in Redruth on 26 December 2025.
Report of car broken into
Police also investigated reports of a car being broken into on Trerise Road in Camborne on Monday 9 February.
Gary has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Truro Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 17 February.
