Police Appeal After Suspicious Behaviour Reported in Bodmin

Police are appealing for witnesses after a report of suspicious behaviour involving a teenage girl in Bodmin.

The incident was reported to police at around 4pm on Thursday 12th March in the area of the Beacon Nature Reserve near The Beacon monument.

Report of Suspicious Behaviour

According to police, a teenage girl was approached by an unknown man who made inappropriate sexualised comments towards her before walking off.

After the encounter, the girl immediately made her way to a safe place where police were then called.

Description of the Man

Police are appealing for information to help identify the suspect.

He is described as a white man aged in his 20s to 30s and around 5ft 8ins tall. He is said to be of slight build with short light blond hair.

The man was wearing a light grey jumper and dark coloured jeans and was described as having missing front teeth.

Appeal for Information and Footage

Officers are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have dash-cam or doorbell footage from the areas of Foster Drive, Bawden Road, Dawes Crescent and Treningle View around the time of the report.
