What nine Bodmin litter pickers found in just 75 minutes
Two tyres. A shopping trolley. A seat cushion. And that was just the bulky stuff.
A team of nine volunteers set off from College Lane in Bodmin into a strong wind, and in one hour and 15 minutes they had pulled together a pile that took up a decent stretch of grass.

What they found
The Bodmin Tidy it Team filled 10 bags of rubbish and another 8 bags of recycling during the session.
Alongside the bags came two tyres, a pot of paint, a large plastic container, cardboard, a trolley, a seat cushion, a nitrous oxide canister, vapes and batteries.
The group said it found huge amounts of rubbish in some places.
Thanks to the team
Gilly, who posted the update on behalf of the group, thanked the volunteers who turned out: Tom, Nigel, Mandy, Gary, Trish, Paul, Debs and Andy V.
Thanks also went to Clean Cornwall and Biffa.
Want to join the next one?
The next session is next Wednesday (28 October). The team will meet at 9.45am in the car park at Sainsbury’s.
Everyone is welcome to come along, meet the group and lend a hand keeping Bodmin tidy.
