What’s Going on at Asda? Bodmin Tidy It Team Collects Over 20 Bags of Rubbish
Community Clean-Up Sees Huge Haul of Waste and Recycling
Bodmin Tidy It Team was out in force yesterday morning, tackling litter around the Asda area and making a big difference in the community. The team collected an impressive 18 bags of rubbish and 8 bags of recycling, with an additional 5 bags added by Claire, Ros, and Gilly. This brings their running total to 203 bags so far.
New Faces Join the Effort
The clean-up saw Shadow and Corrin joining the team for the first time. “Thanks for joining us, we hope you enjoyed yourselves and come along again,” the group said in their update.
Teamwork and Support
A fantastic turnout made the effort possible, with Linda, Roger, Gary, Trish, Steve, Max, Tom, Ros, Nigel, Sue, Richard, Andy, Jeremy, Debs, and Andy all taking part, alongside support from Biffa and Clean Cornwall.
To show their appreciation, Asda treated the team to drinks and cake—a well-earned reward after all their hard work.
Next Clean-Up Planned
Bodmin Tidy It Team will be back in action next week, meeting along College Lane on Wednesday, 19th February, at 10 a.m. (or more like 9:45 a.m.). Everyone is welcome to join in and help keep the town looking its best.
