Planning Permission Approved for New Bude Skatepark

After months of design work and community input, the new skatepark planned for Bude has reached a turning point. The wheels are finally in motion.

Bude-Stratton Town Council has confirmed that planning permission for the new skatepark project has been approved. The council described the decision as a major milestone, one that allows work to continue on the next stages needed to bring the facility forward.

The project has been shaped through ongoing engagement with local skaters and the wider community. A dedicated skatepark user group fed into the design process throughout, with the council aiming to build a modern, high-quality facility that better meets the needs of local users and future generations of skaters, scooter riders and BMX riders.
