Harriette Thompson to lead Savills’ prime home sales in Cornwall

Behind every sale of a harbourside house or a farmhouse at the end of a long Cornish lane there is a valuation, a marketing plan and, eventually, a negotiation. At one of the biggest names in prime property, the person in charge of all that across Cornwall has just changed.

A new head of residential sales for Cornwall

Savills has made a senior business appointment in the county, naming Harriette Thompson as its head of residential sales for Cornwall. The firm says the move strengthens what it describes as its market-leading residential offering across the county.

Harriette will lead the Truro-based residential sales team, with a focus on the region’s prime coastal and country markets.

From St Mawes to Truro

She arrives with more than six years in Cornwall’s premium property sector. Her most recent role was General Manager for a boutique independent agency in St Mawes.

In that time she has advised clients on valuations, marketing strategy and sales negotiations. Savills credits her knowledge of the county and a highly personal approach to client service with making her a trusted adviser to the people she works for.

She joins a team of seven residential sales specialists already working for Savills in Cornwall.

Harriette sees the county’s property market as many small markets rather than one.

Away from the office, Harriette spends her time exploring Cornwall’s food and drink scene and getting outdoors with her family and their two cocker spaniels.
