Sunday lunch at MOR comes on platters. Whipped cod’s roe, a bowl of St Austell mussels in Cornish crab broth, a chargrilled bavette and a stuffed market fish, all landing in the middle of the table for everyone to dig into.

Chef Tom Sellers’ ocean-inspired restaurant at Carbis Bay Estate has launched Surf & Turf Sunday, its own take on the Sunday lunch. It costs £39 per person and pairs seafood with quality meat and seasonal, locally sourced produce.

A Sunday lunch made for sharing

The menu is built around the meeting of land and sea, with dishes designed to be shared en famille. The idea is a relaxed, leisurely Sunday spent around the table with family and friends.

It follows the same thinking as the rest of MOR, which sets out to showcase Cornwall’s ingredients through thoughtful cooking and bold flavour combinations. Seafood takes centre stage, with carefully prepared meat dishes alongside and some inventive flavours and accompaniments giving the traditional Sunday lunch a fresh perspective.

At MOR he brings his signature storytelling approach to cooking together with produce from Cornwall and beyond, working alongside Group Executive Chef Tom Anglesea on a dining experience rooted in provenance, creativity and a deep respect for ingredients.
