Callington groups offered funding to reduce anti-social behaviour
Callington Town Council has money to hand out, but it’s a small, one-off pot and only groups with a plan to tackle anti-social behaviour will get a look in.

Who the grant is for
The council is asking charities, community groups and voluntary organisations to apply for its Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Grant. The fund is open to any group or organisation that wants to help bring anti-social behaviour down in Callington and Kelly Bray.
To qualify, a project has to do three things. It needs to help discourage and reduce anti-social behaviour, benefit residents of Callington and Kelly Bray, and improve community wellbeing and quality of life.
How applications are judged
The council has set out how it will decide who gets funded. Applications are assessed on merit and community benefit, and funding is awarded at the council’s discretion. Successful projects may be monitored and evaluated, and the council is clear that grants are not guaranteed on an annual basis.
Applicant groups and local trusts also have to provide financial and operational details, with the council checking that projects line up with its ASB objectives before any money is handed over.
How to apply
Application forms are on the Callington Town Council website. Groups that would rather talk it through first can contact the council at the Town Hall, New Road, Callington, PL17 7BD, or call 01579 384039.
