Poppy Appeal 2024: Camborne Royal British Legion Calls for Volunteers
The Camborne Branch of The Royal British Legion is urgently seeking volunteers to help with this year’s Poppy Appeal. For two weeks leading up to Remembrance Day, the branch hopes to set up Poppy Appeal tables in both Aldi and Tesco in Camborne, providing a vital opportunity for the community to show their support.
If you have a few hours to spare, your assistance is needed. Volunteering for the 2024 Poppy Appeal is open to all – no need to have served in the Armed Forces to participate.
For more details, contact John Middleton, the Poppy Appeal Organiser for the Camborne Branch of the Royal British Legion, at 07597923820.
This appeal comes as preparations ramp up for Remembrance Day, an important occasion to remember and honour those who served. Every contribution of time helps keep this tradition alive.
