A day on the course

Teams took to the course in glorious sunshine before coming together for an evening charity auction in support of the regional children’s hospice charity. The day formed part of Cavanna Homes’ ongoing commitment to supporting the communities where it works, with the money raised helping the charity continue supporting babies, children, young people and their families.

Teams came from a range of organisations connected to the housebuilding and construction sector, all helping to build the total while making a day of it.

“Some of life’s most difficult challenges”

Paul Moran, Managing Director at Cavanna Homes, said: “We were delighted to welcome so many people to our charity golf day and are incredibly grateful for the generosity shown throughout the event.

“Children’s Hospice South West provides invaluable support to families facing some of life’s most difficult challenges, and we are proud to be able to contribute towards the fantastic work the charity carries out every day.

“The weather was certainly on our side, which helped make for a brilliant day of golf, networking and fundraising. We’d like to thank everyone who attended, donated auction prizes and supported the event.”

What the money pays for

Children’s Hospice South West supports more than 500 families across the South West, providing hospice care, emergency care, palliative care and bereavement support for children with life-limiting conditions and the people who love them.

The money from the golf day goes towards keeping those services running for families across the region.
