Cavanna Homes Raises £14,874 for Children’s Hospice South West After Year of Fundraising

A year of golf days, bike rides and a show home furniture auction in Bude has added up to nearly £15,000 for a charity that cares for terminally ill children across the South West.

Cavanna Homes has donated £14,874.97 to Children’s Hospice South West, supporting the charity’s work with children and families across the region.

The money was raised through fundraising activities involving employees from across the business, part of what the company describes as an ongoing commitment to supporting local communities.

How the money was raised

Over the past year, colleagues organised and took part in a charity golf day, a company-wide bike ride challenge and a Christmas raffle. More came in through tuck shop and event donations, alongside a show home furniture auction at the company’s Bude development.

Children’s Hospice South West provides hospice care for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, as well as support for their families.
