A quiz, a raffle and an auction
Staff and customers at the pub took part in a quiz, a raffle and an auction, with the money from all three going to the foodbank.
The foodbank shared its thanks publicly, offering “a massive thank you” to the pub for hosting and praising the “amazing staff and customers” who joined in.

The team called the evening “a really fun way to raise awareness and funds”.
For a local charity working on food poverty, every pound counts, and the foodbank was clear about what this one is for.
“The money will help us on the journey to hopefully alleviate food poverty in Cornwall!”
