How Will Education Shape Camborne’s Future? Find Out at This Online Event
Education providers are being encouraged to join BID Camborne’s next Prosperity Accelerator Partnership (PAP) meeting on Thursday 6th March from 2-3pm. The session, taking place online, will focus on how education and businesses can collaborate to support the town’s growth.
Linking Education with Business
PAP is part of Project A-Void Phase 2, a government-funded Town Deal project managed by BID Camborne and overseen by Cornwall Council. The meeting will provide a space for schools, colleges, and other organisations to connect with local businesses and discuss ways to strengthen those links.
“Each of our meetings focuses on a different element of prosperity and this one is specifically about education and training,” said BID Camborne chair Samantha Hussey.
“We’ll be looking at how we can link more closely with schools, colleges and any other related organisations and welcome participation from anyone working in that sector. It will be a brainstorming session to come up with ideas and discuss how to take them forward.”
How to Get Involved
Education professionals interested in attending can email smile@cambornetown.com for registration details.
This session is an opportunity for education and business sectors to collaborate on ideas that could help Camborne thrive. Will it lead to new training opportunities or stronger industry links? Those taking part will help shape the answer.
