Cornwall Air Ambulance’s Christmas carol concert returns to Truro
Brass, a male voice choir and a church full of people singing along to the carols. That is the plan for an evening in Truro this December, and every penny raised from ticket sales goes straight to the charity behind the county’s air ambulance.
Cornwall Air Ambulance will hold its Christmas carol concert on Tuesday 1 December at Truro Methodist Church. Tickets are on sale now for the popular event, which is entering its seventh year.

Who is on the bill
The evening will be hosted by Geraint Richards MVO OBE and is billed as a joyful celebration of Christmas. St Dennis Band and Mousehole Male Voice Choir will both perform, alongside singer-songwriter Suzie Mac.
And there will be plenty of chances to sing along to some familiar carols.
Stories from the crew and patients
Between the music, ticketholders will hear from members of the air ambulance crew, its ambassadors, and patients who have been affected by the service.
Karen Hurn, Cornwall Air Ambulance’s Head of Fundraising and Philanthropy, said: “Our Christmas carol concert is a wonderful opportunity for our supporters to come together with their loved ones to enjoy a lovely evening, while helping to ensure we can continue to provide critical care to people across our region.
“We are so grateful for the incredible support and generosity of our community, and we can’t wait to see you all in Truro this December. Come along, have a sing-along to some of your favourite Christmas carols and help make a difference.”
Tickets and where the money goes
Tickets cost £10 per person, with concessions at £7.50 for under-16s and over-65s.
Every penny raised from ticket sales will be donated directly to Cornwall Air Ambulance, thanks to the support of charity ambassador Dr Karen J Dickens.
Tickets for the seventh Christmas carol concert are available from the Cornwall Air Ambulance carol concert page.
