Cornwall Airport Newquay Releases Summer 2025 Schedule with More Routes and Improved Connectivity
More routes, better security, and major improvements for Cornwall travellers
Cornwall Airport Newquay has released its Summer 2025 schedule today (30th April), unveiling a range of new and returning routes for the season, plus a major boost to the Isles of Scilly service.
Running from late March to late October, the schedule covers 20 destinations across the UK and Europe, with flights operated by airlines including Eastern Airways, Loganair, Aer Lingus, Edelweiss, Eurowings, Skybus, easyJet and Ryanair.
Big changes for Scilly and Scotland
Among the headline updates is a significant increase in flights to the Isles of Scilly. Operated by Skybus, the service will rise from three times a week to three times a day.
A new summer route to Glasgow with Loganair launches on 31st May, adding to the airport’s growing links with major UK cities.
Eastern Airways will begin a new connection to London Southend from 3rd April, further enhancing Cornwall’s access to the capital.
Returning summer favourites
Several popular seasonal routes are also returning this summer. Travellers will once again be able to fly directly to:
-
Faro
-
Düsseldorf
-
Zurich
-
Dublin
-
Belfast City
-
Manchester
-
Edinburgh
-
Newcastle
These routes build on the airport’s core year-round services to London Gatwick, London Stansted, Alicante, Málaga, Dublin, and Manchester via Loganair.
Airport upgrades now complete
Passengers flying from Newquay this summer will notice several improvements at the terminal. These include:
-
A newly expanded departures area
-
Upgraded café and retail options
-
Next-generation security screening
The new security system, fully operational since February, allows liquids and laptops to remain in-hand luggage, aiming to make the process quicker and more convenient.
Focus on sustainable growth
Amy Smith, Managing Director (interim) at Cornwall Airport Newquay, said:
“We’re pleased to continue to welcome back carriers as part of our Summer 2025 schedule, which reflects a clear focus on strategic route development and improving year-round connectivity. This summer brings an exciting mix of new, returning, and expanded services – including a significant uplift in frequency to the Isles of Scilly, as well as enhanced links to major UK cities.
Alongside this growth, we continue to invest in the passenger experience, with our expanded departure lounge, improved café & retail offering and new security screening now fully operational. These improvements are designed to meet rising demand and ensure the airport is future-ready, as we work closely with airline partners to build long-term, sustainable connectivity for Cornwall.”
Getting involved across Cornwall
The airport’s team will also be out and about this summer, attending key events including the Royal Cornwall Show and Boardmasters, and supporting headline sponsorships such as Watergate Bay’s Wild at the Beach.
