Blue Badge Confusion? Free Cornwall Session Reveals All

Cornwall Council is inviting Blue Badge holders, along with their families and carers, to take part in a free online session aimed at helping people better understand how the scheme works.

The event, titled Using your Blue Badge: where you can park and what you need to know, will take place on Tuesday 31st March from 10:30am to 11:30am.

What the session will cover

The one-hour webinar will provide a short and supportive overview of Blue Badge parking in Cornwall. It will explain where badge holders can and cannot park, who is eligible to use a badge, and how it should be displayed correctly.

Cornwall Council says the session has been organised following feedback from a recent Blue Badge survey, which highlighted that many people find the rules confusing, particularly as they can vary depending on location and signage.

As well as providing guidance, the session will give attendees the chance to ask questions and get clear, practical information in an informal setting.

The aim is to help people feel more confident using their Blue Badge, avoid unnecessary stress or parking fines, and ensure the scheme works fairly for everyone who relies on it.
