Cornwall Fire and Rescue hiring emergency driving instructor
Someone has to teach the crews who drive fire engines through traffic at speed. Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service is now hiring for exactly that, and applications are open.

What the role involves
The service is recruiting an Emergency Response Driving Instructor to deliver driver training and assessments, coach operational staff and promote safe, efficient driving. It is a job aimed at someone who can inspire confidence in learners and bring strong communication and mentoring skills to the work.
The instructor will work in accordance with national standards and service policies, contributing to the operational readiness and safety of personnel across the organisation.
What you’ll need
An ERD instructor qualification is required for the role. Candidates who do not yet hold one can still apply if they are willing to achieve it within an agreed timeframe.
