A pharmacy, a robbery and a fly-tipper: a week of Camborne arrests

Officers covering Camborne, Pool and Redruth do not always spell out exactly what they have been up to. This week they made an exception, sharing a run of arrests they reckoned people across the three towns would want to hear about.

Four arrests, four very different jobs

The neighbourhood team, posting on the Camborne, Pool and Redruth Police Facebook page, described the past seven days as an “arrest filled” week. First up was a man arrested over damage to a pharmacy in Camborne.

A second man was arrested and remanded in connection with seven breaches of a Criminal Behaviour Order. According to the team, those breaches included calling 999 for no reason.

A robbery suspect and a fly-tipping operation

A woman was arrested on suspicion of robbery. At the time of the post, officers said they hoped she would be charged that evening.

The fourth arrest came out of a joint effort with the Environment Agency. Working together, the two teams detained someone over what the officers called large scale fly tipping.

The team said the update was a reply to residents who have asked to hear more about what is happening in their communities. They acknowledged catching people is the job, but added that plenty of local people had said they wanted to know about it. “Thanks for your support,” they signed off.
