Camborne, Pool and Redruth Police Warn Young People Over Door Knocking Distress

Something is happening on the streets of Camborne, Pool and Redruth, and police want it to stop before someone gets seriously frightened.

Officers from the Camborne, Pool and Redruth neighbourhood team have issued a warning after a rise in reports of young people knocking on doors, kicking gates and then running away in residential areas.

The team say they are receiving an increasing amount of reports of this behaviour across the area. While some see it as a prank, officers warn it can cause significant distress and fear to elderly and vulnerable members of the community.

What looks like a game to one person can leave someone else feeling intimidated in their own home.
