Cornwall Speed Camera Locations for 18th to 24th May Revealed

Planning a drive across Cornwall this week? Devon and Cornwall Police’s Road Safety Team has just published exactly where its speed detection officers will be stationed, and the duchy is on the list every single day from Monday through to Sunday.

Every day of the week

The schedule, covering the week commencing the 18th of May, shows speed enforcement activity rolling across Cornwall seven days in a row. No part of the county gets a clear run.

Mid Cornwall is the standout. It appears on the list for all seven days, making it the most heavily watched area in the region this week. Drivers around Truro, Bodmin, St Austell, Newquay and the surrounding villages can expect officers with speed guns to be a regular feature of their journeys.

North Cornwall is next in line, with officers operating there from Tuesday through to Thursday. That covers towns like Launceston, Bude, Camelford and Wadebridge across three consecutive days.

East Cornwall, including Saltash, Callington and Liskeard, gets attention on Monday and Tuesday. West Cornwall is on the list for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, putting Penzance, Hayle, Camborne, Redruth and the far west firmly in the spotlight heading into the weekend.
