Death of man in Truro no longer treated as suspicious
Devon and Cornwall Police say the death of a young Truro man last autumn is no longer being treated as suspicious, and that a man once arrested on suspicion of his murder faces no further action.

What police have said
Ison Alli, 23, from Truro, died in October 2025. Devon and Cornwall Police have confirmed that, following extensive enquiries, the investigation into his death has concluded there was no third-party involvement.
A 23-year-old man, also from Truro, had been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the case and released on police bail while the investigation continued. He has now been told there will be no further police action taken against him.
What happens next
A file on Mr Alli’s death is being prepared for the coroner. No further details of the circumstances have been released.
