Help Needed: Devon and Cornwall Police Seek Doors for Training

Devon and Cornwall Police are calling on the public to assist their Specialist Operations team by donating unwanted composite or metal front doors.

These doors will be used to practice essential door breaching techniques, which can be critical in life-saving situations and securing evidence during operations.

The Need for Tougher Doors

The team requires composite or metal doors as they present a greater challenge than standard uPVC doors. These materials are significantly tougher and require a different approach to breach, making them ideal for realistic training scenarios.

How You Can Help

If you have a suitable door that you no longer need, the police encourage you to get in touch. Once you have made contact and if your door meets the requirements, the team will arrange to collect it from you.
