Police Search for Man Wanted Over Assault in East Cornwall
Cornwall Police are appealing for the public’s help to find a 22-year-old man from Liskeard who is wanted in connection with an assault.
Liam Smith is being sought by Devon and Cornwall Police in connection with a report of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. Officers have previously issued an appeal to locate Liam on recall to prison, and enquiries have already been made to trace him without success.

Who are police looking for?
Liam is described as a white male with a slim build, standing around 5ft 10ins tall, with short wavy brown hair.
He is known to have links across the East Cornwall area, including Liskeard, Looe and Launceston.
What should you do if you see him?
Anyone who spots Liam is urged not to approach him. Instead, call police immediately on 999, quoting log number 348 of the 17th April 2026.
