New Secure Dog Walking Field Opens in Higher Fraddon

A new secure dog walking field has opened in Higher Fraddon, offering a safe and enclosed space for dogs to exercise freely.

Atlantic View Farm Dog Walking Field, located in TR9 6LG, provides around two acres of fully enclosed land designed to give dogs a stress-free environment to run, explore and play.

A Space Designed for Dogs

The field has been created with both dogs and owners in mind, offering a range of features to make visits easy and enjoyable. These include a large car park, a drive-in field, and a six-foot secure perimeter fence.

Inside the field, there is a shelter, picnic bench and a variety of play equipment. Dogs can make use of ramps, jumps, weaving posts, a see-saw, toys, a sand pit and a podium. Waste bins and compostable bags are also available on site.

The setting also offers wide views across the surrounding area, with the possibility of catching Atlantic sunsets depending on the weather.

Inspired by Luna

The field was inspired by Luna, described as a lively dog known for greeting other dogs enthusiastically and occasionally making unexpected appearances.

Her behaviour highlighted the need for a secure space where dogs can be let off the lead without concern, leading to the creation of the field.

Booking and Prices

The field is available all year round and can be booked for exclusive use in 25 or 55 minute sessions. Prices are £5.50 for 25 minutes and £10.50 for 55 minutes, with a five-minute changeover period at the end of each booking.

Visitors can choose a suitable date and time, with instructions on how to access the field sent via email after booking.
