Dragon Themed Easter Activities Announced at Eden Project

Dragon Eggs, Marble Runs and Magic at Eden This Easter

Families heading to Cornwall this spring will find a dragon themed adventure waiting for them at the Eden Project.

From Friday 3rd April to Sunday 19th April 2026, the charity the Eden Project is inviting visitors to take part in a special Easter egg hunt with a dragon themed trail across its gardens and Biomes.

A Dragon Themed Easter Quest

With help from the Cornish Dragon Conservation Society, described as the renowned protectors of Cornwall’s dragons of legend and folklore, young adventurers are encouraged to become budding “Dragonologists”.

As part of the trail, families will hunt for decorative dragon eggs, uncover curious artefacts and discover what Eden calls a sprinkle of mythical magic throughout the site.

After completing the quest, explorers can create their own dragon inspired headpieces and visit The Cornish Dragon Museum. The family friendly exhibition will feature playful displays, artefacts and sketches inspired by dragon folklore.

This year’s Easter programme brings that spirit to life through a dragon themed trail and hands on activities that offer a fun, imaginative twist on a seasonal tradition. We hope all the budding Dragonologists have fun, and we look forward to seeing their dragon inspired creations.”

All Easter activities, including the trail, craft workshops and Dragon Museum, are included with standard admission.

Giant Marble Runs Open for 25th Anniversary

The Easter experience also coincides with the launch of Eden’s new permanent play installation, the Giant Marble Runs, opening on 28th March 2026 as part of the charity’s 25th anniversary celebrations.

The installation features more than 100 metres of interactive wooden tracks and games. Visitors can follow carved wooden marbles as they twist and turn through Eden’s gardens.

Marbles can be hired for a £5 returnable deposit. At the end of the visit, they can be returned for a refund or kept for a future trip, which Eden says is ideal for local pass holders, annual pass holders and members.

Spring in Bloom

Visitors this spring can also explore 28 acres of outdoor horticultural landscapes, with more than 130,000 spring bulbs in bloom. These include Narcissus ‘Carlton’, Leucojum aestivum, also known as Summer Snowflakes, and the lemon scented wild Tulipa sylvestris.

Ticket Information

Admission to the Eden Project is priced from £35.50 for adults and £12 for children, with under fives admitted free of charge.

Visitors receiving Universal Credit, Pension Credit or UK Legacy Credit can enter for £10.

Residents of Devon and Cornwall can purchase a Locals’ Pass from £29.80 per adult and £12 per child, now available year round.
