Eden Project Tickets Get Cheaper for Ten Weeks This Summer

A family day out at the Eden Project is about to cost noticeably less, and for once the discount is coming from Westminster rather than a voucher code.

The Cornwall attraction is passing on a round of summer savings after new government legislation cut VAT on UK family attractions from 20 per cent to 5 per cent. Eden is calling its version “Great British Summer Savings,” and it runs for ten weeks between Thursday 25 June and Tuesday 1 September 2026.

What you will actually pay

Under the reduced rate, an adult booking in advance will get in for £31.06. Student entry drops to £28, and children aged 5 to 15 can visit for £10.94. Eden says that works out as a 23 per cent saving for a family of four against its on-the-door price. Under 5s go free, as they always have.

The lower prices apply to all General Admission tickets, as well as Universal Credit and Pension Credit tickets, for any visit between 25 June and 1 September. Children’s meals are included too. And if you have already booked for those dates at the full rate, Eden says it will refund you the difference.

Why Eden is on board

Eden is an educational charity, and this summer marks its 25th anniversary. Simon Townsend, general manager at the Eden Project, said: “Everyone deserves to enjoy the summer holidays, and nothing says family holiday like a great British day out.

Dinosaurs, in a big way

There is a reason to time a visit carefully. From 25 July to 6 September, Eden turns into an immersive dinosaur world, with the returning Dinosaurs Return event running at almost three times the size of the original.

Fifteen large-scale animatronic dinosaurs will be hidden among the planting, including several life-size species and a 40-foot Tyrannosaurus rex. Alongside them, the Olivier Award-winning Dinosaur World Live brings a 45-minute show three times a day.

The photography returns too

The Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition is also back, running from 6 June to 5 September. Produced by the Natural History Museum, it gathers images from one of the most prestigious wildlife photography competitions in the world, with a focus on the beauty, diversity and fragility of life on Earth.
