Let’s Dance Returns to the Eden Project on 8th March 2026
Let’s Dance is returning to the Eden Project on Sunday 8th March 2026, inviting people of all ages and abilities to get moving.
The national campaign, founded by Angela Rippon CBE, encourages people across the UK to embrace dance as a way to improve health, connect with others and have fun. It brings together dance organisations, health professionals, community groups, celebrities and charities including the Eden Project to get more people dancing together, regardless of age, fitness level or experience.

Performances and Workshops Throughout the Day
Visitors to the Eden Project will be able to see performances in the Core and the Gallery from local schools and dance groups. Styles will range from ballroom to street dance.
There will also be accessible guided workshops, giving everyone the chance to take part.
Simon Townsend, general manager at the Eden Project, said: “Let’s Dance is all about participation and we’re thrilled to be hosting local schools and groups for the second-year running to showcase just how important connecting people with nature is to boost health and wellbeing. Visitors should keep their eyes out for surprise flash-mob performances too!”
Angela Rippon CBE added: “Dance is so much more than just movement – it’s about connection, joy, and wellbeing. Let’s Dance aims to make it easier than ever for people to find a suitable dance activity, breaking down barriers and showing that dance truly is for everyone.
“Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or someone who hasn’t moved to music since your school days, March 8th is your invitation to join in, watch, be inspired, and remember that dancing is one of the most natural and joyful things we can do together.”
Part of a Wider Wellbeing Programme
Let’s Dance follows the launch of a new three-year Nature: Connection and Recovery programme by the Eden Project. The programme is funded by the Climate Action Fund at the National Lottery and will support six UK communities most affected by climate change and health inequalities.
It includes nature recovery, food growing and art activities designed to engage local people, particularly those facing mental health challenges, in climate-positive action.
Other nature-based wellbeing activities at the Eden Project include yoga sessions in the Mediterranean Biome every Saturday until 28th March, following the success of January’s sessions. The Eden Project also hosts parkrun, a free weekly 5k community event. Participants in both yoga and parkrun receive free access to the rest of the site for the day.
From 7th to 15th March 2026, visitors can use any National Lottery ticket to enjoy free entry with a guest to the Eden Project.
Entry Details
Entry and participation in Let’s Dance is free for existing Annual Pass holders, Members and Locals’ Pass holders.
