Wolf Alice at the Eden Project tonight

North London quartet Wolf Alice open this year’s Eden Sessions tonight, Tuesday 16 June 2026, with a sellout crowd gathered in front of the Eden Project Biomes at St Austell.

The band is made up of singer Ellie Rowsell, guitarist Joff Oddie, drummer Joel Amey and bassist Theo Ellis. Joff is Cornwall’s own, which gives tonight a local edge that most Eden Sessions headliners cannot claim.

They arrive as one of the biggest and most accomplished British guitar bands of the moment, with a run of records that has tracked their rise from buzzy newcomers to chart-toppers.

A career built over a decade

Wolf Alice were nominated for the Mercury Prize with their debut album My Love Is Cool, then went one better and won it with Visions of a Life. Their third album Blue Weekend went to number one in the UK. Their most recent record, The Clearing, also hit the top spot.

Along the way they have played Glastonbury and completed a sold-out arena tour.

Tonight they will be joined by special guests Girl in the Year Above.

The biggest Eden Sessions ever

This year marks 25 years of the Eden Project, and the milestone has shaped the programme. Organisers have billed the 2026 line-up as the biggest in the event’s history.

Across 10 nights, 26 artists will perform to an intimate crowd in front of the Biomes.
