Step inside one of Cornwall’s most iconic lifeboat stations this Easter Monday. The Penlee Old Lifeboat Station, home to Penlee’s lifeboats from before World War One until the early 1980s, opens its doors for the first of six open days this year.
Explore this listed building and see service boards documenting over 100 years of lifesaving by the crews of Penzance, Newlyn and Penlee. Hosted by the RNLI Visits Team of volunteers.
Please note: Access to the station is via steep, narrow concrete steps. Care is needed inside due to original equipment still in place.
