Circus Skills, Theatre and More
Swamp Circus has revealed a packed Easter programme, with workshops, performances and opportunities for the community taking place across Cornwall in the coming months.
Easter Circus School at Chyan
Running from 7th to 9th April, the Easter Holiday Performing Arts & Circus School will take place at Chyan Cultural Centre between 10.00am and 3.30pm each day.
The sessions are designed to offer children a full day of creativity, movement and skill-building, led by a specialist circus team. Activities include juggling, diabolo, hoops, unicycle, tightrope, acro, aerial hoop and silks for both beginners and more advanced participants.
The cost is £15 standard or £10 concession, and attendees are asked to bring a packed lunch.
Children aged 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult, while those aged 9 and above can be dropped off.
A hot desk option is also available for parents or guardians who need to work during the sessions. The Sky Barn workspace offers WiFi access at £5 per day, with advance booking required.
Places can be booked via the Swamp Circus website.
Community Circus Returns in April
The weekly Community Circus sessions will resume on Thursday 23rd April at The Old Gym in Falmouth.
Running from 5.00pm to 6.00pm during term time, the sessions aim to provide a relaxed and welcoming space for people to try circus skills and meet others.
Booking details are available on the Swamp Circus website.
