At 11am this Sunday, towns across Cornwall will fall quiet. Streets will close for parades, and wreaths will be laid at war memorials from Bank Square in St Just to Fore Street in Saltash.

Remembrance events take place across Cornwall on Remembrance Sunday (8 November) and on Armistice Day (Wednesday 11 November). Most are organised by town councils and local branches of the Royal British Legion, and everyone is welcome.

Here’s what is happening and where.
