Falmouth Sea Shanty App Hands Early Birds the Full 2026 Lineup
What if you could see the full Falmouth Sea Shanty Festival programme before anyone else? That’s exactly what’s on offer for anyone who downloads the festival’s brand new app, which has just launched ahead of the event’s return in June.
The free Falmouth Sea Shanty app is available now on the App Store and Google Play, giving festival-goers an interactive guide to the three-day event running from 12th to 14th June 2026.
Funded by Falmouth BID and developed by 3 Deep Media, the app is being pitched as an all-in-one companion for the weekend, with information on all performing groups, a real-time schedule, travel information, and interactive stage maps for navigating Falmouth’s waterfront venues.

Early access to the full programme
Anyone who downloads the app now will get first sight of the full 2026 festival schedule before it’s published anywhere else. With more than ninety groups performing across three days, the early access gives visitors a head start on planning their weekend before the crowds arrive.
Treasure hunt for younger visitors
In a nod to Falmouth’s seafaring heritage, the app includes a built-in treasure map challenge aimed at keeping children entertained across the weekend. Younger attendees are invited to explore the full festival footprint, collecting treasure map pieces as they discover different venues and stages. Those who complete the map will be entered into a prize draw.
Boost for the local economy
Keren Cooksey, Falmouth BID Manager, said: “The Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival is a truly special event for our town and community, bringing people together and celebrating everything that makes Falmouth such a unique and vibrant place. The festival also delivers a huge boost for local businesses and the wider town economy each year, attracting thousands of visitors who support our shops, hospitality venues and independent businesses throughout the weekend.”
Keren added: “The all-in-one app will enhance the experience for everyone attending, with all the festival information they need readily available at the click of a button. We’re also delighted that app users will be the first to see the full 2026 programme. It’s a little reward for those who download early and a great way to start building excitement ahead of June. We’re really pleased to be able to offer this to attendees and look forward to welcoming them back to Falmouth in June.”
The Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival is one of the UK’s biggest free folk and maritime music events, drawing tens of thousands of visitors to Cornwall each summer. The 2026 festival will feature more than ninety groups from across the UK and beyond, performing at venues and stages throughout Falmouth town centre and waterfront.
