First Falmouth Shoppers Pocket Voucher Prizes in New Local Scheme

Two Falmouth shoppers have just walked away with vouchers to spend across the town’s independent businesses, and they’re not the last to do so.

Sue is the first winner of the Love Falmouth Shopper Card prize draw, picking up £75 worth of Love Falmouth BID vouchers. She said she was looking forward to spending them at The Natural Store.

Simon also took home a prize, winning £50 in vouchers. He said he planned to treat himself at Scarlet Wines.

How the scheme works

The Love Falmouth Shopper Card launched to encourage residents and visitors to support the town’s independent businesses while picking up rewards for shopping locally.

Customers can grab a free shopper card from any participating business and collect stamps with every purchase. Once a card is completed, it can be entered into the monthly prize draw to win Falmouth BID vouchers, which can then be spent across a wide range of town centre businesses.

More than 70 businesses signed up

The scheme has already attracted more than 70 businesses across Falmouth, covering retail, hospitality, food and drink, wellbeing and lifestyle. The aim is to drive footfall into the town centre, reward loyal customers and highlight the diversity of independent businesses that make Falmouth what it is.

It’s delivered by Falmouth BID as part of its ongoing work to support the town’s business community and encourage people to shop local.

Falmouth BID Manager Keren Cooksey said: “It’s been fantastic to see such a positive response to the Shopper Card scheme already. Not only does it reward people for supporting local businesses, it also helps showcase the incredible range of independent shops and venues we have here in Falmouth.”
