Shoppers in Falmouth are being given a new reason to spend locally, with the launch of the LoveFalmouth Shopper Card.

The scheme, created by Falmouth BID as part of the town’s Street Meets campaign, rewards people for supporting local businesses. It has been inspired by a similar shopper card previously delivered by Camborne BID.

How the Shopper Card Works

The idea is simple. Shoppers can pick up a LoveFalmouth Shopper Card from any participating business.

Each time they spend £5 or more, they receive a stamp. Once ten stamps have been collected, the card can be completed and returned to be entered into a monthly prize draw.

Monthly Prizes on Offer

Every month, two winners will be selected:

  • 1st prize: £75 in LoveFalmouth vouchers

  • 2nd prize: £50 in LoveFalmouth vouchers

The vouchers can be spent locally, helping to support independent businesses across Falmouth.

Encouraging Local Spending

Keren Cooksey, BID Manager at Falmouth BID, said:
“Falmouth is full of unique independent businesses, and we want to celebrate the people who choose to shop locally. The Shopper Card is our way of saying thank you. It is about encouraging everyone to explore more of what is on their doorstep and feel rewarded for supporting their town. Even small purchases make a big difference.”

From coffee stops and lunches to everyday essentials and services, each £5 spend brings shoppers closer to a potential reward while contributing to the town’s high street.
