Cornwall Asks About Smoking Habits: Survey Closes Soon
Cornwall Council is asking people across Cornwall to share their views on smoking as part of a new public health survey.
The council’s public health team says it wants to hear from everyone, including current smokers, ex-smokers and people who have never smoked. The feedback will be used to inform local Stop Smoking Services and wider tobacco control work across Cornwall.
What the survey is about
The survey is titled the Cornwall Council Tobacco Needs Assessment Survey 2025. It is described as a short survey focused on understanding attitudes and experiences around smoking in Cornwall.
According to the council, the information collected will help shape Local Stop Smoking Services and wider tobacco control across the county.
How your responses will be used
The results will be published on the Cornwall Council website and shared internally within Cornwall Council. The council has stated that individuals will not be identifiable from the results.
Deadline to take part
The survey is open until 18th January 2026.
People who want to take part can complete the survey online via the council’s Let’s Talk Cornwall platform: Take part in the smoking survey
The council says all views matter, regardless of whether someone smokes now, used to smoke, or has never smoked.
