Cornwall Leisure Centres Roll Out Half Term Lineup From £1

Half term week with kids at home stretches the imagination fast. Cornwall’s nine Better leisure centres have lined up a week of activities to fill the gap, and some of it costs as little as a pound.

What’s On The Programme

Trampoline sessions, soft play and daily family fun swims are running across the centres this half term. Kids can swim for £1 at designated times throughout the week.

The pool programmes also include toddler splash, intensive swimming lessons, aqua play and aqua splash using inflatables.

For children with more energy to burn off, there’s junior gym, junior fitness, badminton and pickleball on the timetables.

Nine Centres, Nine Timetables

GLL, the not-for-profit social enterprise that runs the centres on behalf of Cornwall Council, operates sites in Bude, Saltash, Liskeard, Bodmin, St Austell, Newquay, Truro, Helston and St Ives. Each one sets its own timetable, so what’s on at Truro won’t necessarily be running at Bude on the same day.

Every centre has a swimming pool, gym and fitness studios. Beyond that the facilities vary. Newquay Leisure World has a Trampoline Park, Bodmin has tennis and squash courts, and Liskeard has an astro pitch. Soft play is available at Liskeard, Newquay and St Austell.
