Cornwall weather: Friday 30 October, sunshine with foggy starts
If this morning looked a little murky from your window, do not write the day off. The mist across Cornwall is set to burn away into a bright, settled spell that should see you right through Halloween, with fog the one thing worth keeping half an eye on.

Today (Friday 30 October)
Isolated mist and fog patches clear through the morning to leave a dry day with plenty of sunshine and light winds. It feels rather mild for the end of October, with temperatures close to the seasonal average and a high of 15°C. A proper autumn day once the murk lifts.
Tonight
Clear skies and light winds hold overnight, though more mist and fog form again by morning, thickest across the eastern side of the region. It turns chillier than Thursday night, with the low dropping to around 7°C. Worth factoring in if you are heading out early.
Saturday brings a foggy start to Halloween
Halloween, Saturday 31 October, begins with fog and low cloud that clears through the morning, lingering a little longer in the spots that always hold it. Another dry day with sunny spells follows, winds staying light, and the high reaching 15°C again. Good news for anyone with evening plans.

Outlook: Sunday to Tuesday
Sunday 1 November brings another foggy start, then a cloudier day once it clears. The cloud breaks up on Monday morning, with dry and sunny spells carrying on through Tuesday 3 November. Winds stay light throughout. Keep an eye on the weather, because fog is the recurring theme of this settled spell, and the early starts are where it will catch you out.
