Ian Davis death in Liskeard: two men charged with murder
Two men will appear before magistrates in Truro on Thursday 1 October, charged with murdering a 56-year-old man in Liskeard.

What happened at Baytree Hill
Ian Davis, who lived in the town, was found with multiple injuries inside a property at Baytree Hill on the evening of Sunday 13 September. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Four men were arrested on suspicion of murder in the days that followed, and all four were released on bail.
Who has been charged
Two of those men have since been re-arrested on suspicion of murder and charged. They are:
- Darrell Rowland, 49, of Trevarthian Road, St Austell
- Sukhvinder Singh Shokur, 58, of Liskeard
Both have been remanded in custody and are due at Truro Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 1 October.
The other two men arrested
A man in his 20s from Plymouth, who was also arrested on suspicion of murder, will face no further police action.
A man in his 30s from Liskeard, arrested earlier in the investigation, remains on police bail.
