Man jailed after taking photos of children at Bodmin Carnival
A man has been sentenced to 12 months in prison after members of the public raised concerns about him taking photographs of children at Bodmin Carnival last week.

Reports made during the carnival
Officers from Bodmin’s neighbourhood policing team, part of Devon & Cornwall Police, attended the event after receiving reports about the man’s behaviour.
Arrested at the scene
The man was arrested and remanded in custody.
Sentenced to 12 months
He has since been sentenced to 12 months in prison. Bodmin Police thanked the concerned members of the public who came forward and contacted police during the carnival, saying their reports led directly to the arrest.
