In an ambitious endeavour to foster community unity and provide a creative outlet for children, the newly formed Players in Troon have dedicated themselves to their inaugural production. The group, a vibrant mix of newcomers and seasoned performers, has been rehearsing tirelessly, and their efforts are about to come to fruition.

Due to ongoing refurbishments at Troon’s village hall, the pantomime will grace the stage at Beacon Village Hall, which is located opposite the cricket ground. Audiences can expect a journey to the far east filled with humour, heart, and the age-old battle between good and evil.

The performance dates are set for the 8th, 9th, and 10th of March, with showtimes catering to both evening and afternoon audiences. The cast, including the hilarious Wishee Washee and the ever-entertaining Dame Twankey, is ready to deliver a show that will leave spectators with a lasting sense of joy and wonder.

With performances scheduled for 7pm on Friday the 8th, 2pm and 7pm on Saturday the 9th, and a final matinee at 2pm on Sunday the 10th of March, this event is a must-see for all who cherish the communal joy and imaginative escapism that only pantomime can provide.
