Altarnun Primary School Hosts First Daffodil Dash

Altarnun Primary School, part of Athena Learning Trust, has celebrated its first ever Daffodil Dash this month, bringing together pupils, staff and parents for a day focused on fitness and community spirit.

A fun day with a purpose

Daffodil dashes are spring-themed challenges designed to raise funds in an enjoyable way. At Altarnun Primary School, children took on an obstacle course, completing multiple laps with determination.

The event saw pupils showing their energy, teamwork and perseverance throughout the day.

Community support makes it happen

The Daffodil Dash was organised and supported by FOASA, the Friends of Altarnun School Association. The group helped raise £500 to support school activities, with their efforts playing a key role in the success of the event.

A new tradition begins

The event marks what the school describes as a new tradition, highlighting the strong connections between children, families and staff.
