Pinch Pot Monster Workshop Coming to Liskeard Library

Kids Can Make Their Own Monsters at Liskeard Library This Easter

Families looking for something creative to do during the Easter holidays will have the chance to get hands-on with clay at a special workshop taking place in Liskeard.

A Pinch Pot Monster Workshop will be held at Liskeard Library on Monday 13th April, giving children the opportunity to create their own unique clay monster.

The session will run from 10am to 12pm and is designed as a relaxed and creative activity for children who enjoy making things and experimenting with different materials.

Create Your Own Clay Monster

During the workshop, participants will learn how to shape a pinch pot using air dry clay before turning it into a characterful monster.

Using texture, features and simple sculpting techniques, children will be guided step by step through the process while still having plenty of freedom to experiment and personalise their creations.

Each participant will leave with their finished clay monster, ready to paint at home once the clay has dried.

A Friendly Creative Session

The session is open to anyone interested in trying clay work in a supportive environment, whether they are completely new to sculpting or already enjoy creative crafts.

Hosted With The Clay Haven

The workshop will be run by The Clay Haven CIC, a community pottery studio based in Liskeard.

The studio describes itself as a welcoming place where people can slow down, work with clay and create something meaningful.

This will be The Clay Haven’s first workshop before regular sessions begin later in April at Unit B, The Cattle Market, Liskeard.
