Supported living homes planned for Aries Hill, Liskeard

A patch of land off Aries Hill in Liskeard could become home to sixteen new supported living properties, and residents are being invited to look over the plans and ask questions before a decision is made.

HBV Group has put in a planning application for specialised supported housing at Aries Hill/Charter Way, made up of ten apartments and six bungalows. The developer is holding a public consultation event in Liskeard next week so people living nearby can find out more about what is being proposed.

What is being proposed

The scheme is for specialised supported housing, a type of accommodation built for people who need extra help to live independently. As set out in the planning application, it would bring ten apartments and six bungalows to the site off Aries Hill and Charter Way.

Supported living developments give residents their own front door while care and support are provided on site. HBV Group builds this kind of housing across the country, and the company describes its work as setting new standards in supported living.

Have your say at the consultation

The public consultation gives local residents a chance to see the plans in detail, talk them through and put questions to the team behind them.

It takes place on Monday 17 August 2026 from 5.30pm to 9.30pm in the Wheal Phoenix Room at the Liskeard Town Council Offices, 3–5 West Street, Liskeard, PL14 6BW. Anyone interested in the development is welcome to drop in.

The event was shared by Liskeard Town Council, which said it would give residents the opportunity to learn about the scheme as well as discuss it and ask any questions.
