Vintage Ford Escort destroyed in suspected arson near Liskeard
A vintage Ford Escort has been destroyed in what police believe was a deliberate fire in Lamellion, near Liskeard, and officers are now asking anyone living nearby to check their cameras.

What happened
The fire broke out on Turnpike Place at around 6.00am on Saturday 11 July. Firefighters from Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service tackled the blaze and called police to the scene. The car, a vintage Ford Escort, was destroyed.
Police are treating it as a suspected arson.
The appeal
Officers want to hear from anyone who may have information, including CCTV or doorbell camera footage from the area around Turnpike Place at that time. Anyone who can help can contact police through the Devon and Cornwall Police website or by calling 101, quoting reference 50260181052.
