Why the A38 between Liskeard and Trerulefoot is getting a rethink

If you drive the A38 east of Liskeard, you probably already have an opinion about its junctions. Now there’s a chance to share it with the people planning changes.

National Highways says the stretch of the A38 in Cornwall between Liskeard and Trerulefoot has a higher-than-average number of serious collisions, particularly at junctions.

It is proposing safety improvements on this stretch of road and wants to hear from local people before anything goes further.

Where and when to have your say

A drop-in event is being held at Liskeard Public Hall next Monday (5 October), from 1.30pm to 6.30pm.

There’s no need to book. People can drop in, meet the team, learn about the proposals and share their feedback.

Local knowledge wanted

The event was announced by National Highways: South-West on Facebook, with a simple message about why it wants people to come along.

“Safer roads start with local voices.”
