Armed Police Hunt After Woman Stabbed at Looe Holiday Park
A woman was treated in hospital after sustaining knife wounds at a holiday park near Looe last Friday, prompting a significant police response that included armed officers.
Officers were called to the scene at around 12.25pm on Friday 18th April. The woman was discharged from hospital later that same day.
The suspect fled before police arrived and was believed to possibly still be in possession of a weapon, leading officers to carry out enquiries both in the local area and in the Southway area of Plymouth.
A 43-year-old man from Plymouth was arrested on Saturday 19th April on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He has since been released on bail, pending further enquiries.
