Looe seafront toilets scaffolding prompts warning to parents
Scaffolding has a way of looking like a climbing frame to anyone under a certain age. In Looe, where it has gone up around the seafront toilets, families are being asked to have a word at home before anyone gets tempted.
Looe Town Council has issued a reminder that the area around the building can be dangerous while roof works are carried out, particularly after dark.

What parents and carers are being asked to do
The council is encouraging parents and carers to talk to children and young people about the importance of keeping away from scaffolding, construction areas and restricted spaces.
The roof works and scaffolding are in place on the seafront toilets, and the council says these areas can be dangerous.
CCTV stays on
The town council has also pointed out that its cameras will keep running throughout the works.
“Our CCTV cameras will remain in operation so we will be able to identify anyone who enters the area,” the council said.
It added: “Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe while these works are carried out.”
